West Loop is a downtown Chicago neighborhood and one of the city’s most vibrant and upscale neighborhoods. It’s close to many of the city’s best attractions, including Millennium Park, the Adler Planetarium, the Field Museum, Navy Pier, and the United Center. It’s also near the Illinois Medical District, the Merchandise Mart, and other major business districts. West Loop is the place to go if you want to experience all that downtown offers without being hemmed in by other neighborhoods or by the city’s tall buildings.

Roister Restaurant is a sleek, upscale dining option with an open kitchen in the heart of the establishment. It serves American cuisine artfully plated with greens, sauces, and spices. West Loop is an exciting community with many vibrant districts to explore for museums, boutiques, and experiences.
WNDR Museum is a multisensory artistry hub that provides an interactive, immersive art experience from local and global artists. The museum features different exhibits and events. Union Park is a 13-acre park that features a fieldhouse, gymnasium, and fitness center. The park has open space for leisure activities and offers tennis courts, baseball fields, a pool, a playground, and an athletic field for football or soccer. Skinner Park is another great space with open fields, a playground, athletic fields, and a community garden. Fulton Market District is a thriving area with many shops, restaurants, and live music to enjoy on weekends and evenings.

Schools


Chicago Public Schools is a public education system that serves more than 330,000 students from preschool to 12th grade in West Loop and surrounding communities. The district includes several charter schools and alternative learning opportunities programs. There are also private and Montessori schools in the area.
